KCR enhanced Telangana self-respect by completing Kaleshwaram project: Minister

Hyderabad, April 25 (PMI): Agriculture Minister S. Niranjan Reddy today said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had enhanced self-respect of the Telangana State. He said the CM proved his word on completion of Kaleswaram irrigation project and termed it as an engineering marvel. He said the Chief Minister has redefined the term called pending projects by successfully completing the trial wet run of the Kaleswaram project.

Niranjan Reddy alleged that the Telangana region in the united AP State remained backward due to the inefficient rulers for 60 years. He asked the Opposition leaders to snub their nose to the ground after seeing the release of water from the Kaleswaram project. He assured the farmers of Nalgonda and undivided Mahbubnagar districts that they would provide water through Palamuru Rangareddy irrigation project in the days to come. (PMI)
