Hyderabad ‘April ;19 2023 (PMI) Telangana State Home Minister Shri Mahmood Ali said that the police are there for the people and the Telangana police are at the forefront of the country in maintaining law and order.

Home Minister Mahmood Ali, DGP Anjani Kumar, IPS., Chevella MP Dr. Ranjith Reddy, Chevella MLA Kale Yadayah, MLC Sri P. Mahender Reddy, MLC Sri Surabhi Vanidevi inaugurated the newly constructed state-of-the-art police station building in Chevella town under Chevella constituency in Rangareddy district today. , Rangareddy District ZP Chair Person Mr. T. Anita Harinath Reddy, Telangana State Housing Corporation Chairman Koleti Damodar along with others.

On this occasion, Telangana State DGP Mr. Anjani Kumar, IPS., said that after the formation of Telangana state, Chief Minister KCR gave the highest priority to law & order. The proof of this is that the highest amount of funds has been allocated to the police department. He said that wherever law and order is good, there will be more investments and thus job creation will take place. Telangana policing system is a role model for the country. If people have any problem, call Dial 100 and the police will respond immediately. He said that the Chevella Police Station has been built with the most modern features.

On this occasion, Home Minister Mahmood Ali said that friendly police system and peace and security are the goals of Telangana Police. He asked that the police should be available to the people in every district across the state and provide quality services. He said that with the efforts of the state chief minister KCR, the police department has tightened its belt to maintain peace and security in the state. He said that many revolutionary measures have been taken for the maintenance of peace and security in the state. He said that the government is determined to maintain law and order. He said that IT and cyber crimes are being curbed in the state. The minister mentioned that 33 percent of the posts of women staff have been filled like never before. The police department assured the local MLA that the problems related to police stations in some mandals of the constituency will be brought to the notice of the Chief Minister and the problem will be solved immediately.

Later Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy said that the Telangana Police has been completely successful in controlling crime in installing CC cameras. It is a matter of pride that the security which is not found anywhere in the country continues only in our state of Telangana and the surveillance of seven lakh CCTVs continues in one Hyderabad. He said that 63% of the CC footages in the country are working in our state and it is very gratifying that Hyderabad is set up in a way that resembles America.

Later, Chevella MLA Mr. Kale Yadaya said that he is happy to start a new police station in Chevella and said that Telangana Police has a special position in the country. He said that after the formation of Telangana state, the government will provide police buildings, vehicles, man power, welfare and other assistance to the police department for better policing. MLA Kale Yadayah asked that along with the renovation of Moinabad Shankarpalli Police Station under Cyberabad, police quarters should be constructed in the new traffic police station.
