Hyderabad May 2: Quomi Matami Juloos Shahadat-e-Moula-e-Kayenat Ali Ibne Abu Talib^a.s was started in the year 1978 by All India Shia Conference President Late Mir Lutfe Ali Moosvi, Late Mir Mumtaz Moosvi, General Secretary, Late Mir Samsam Ali Gowhar Secretarty, Senior Journalist, Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat (who became the Secretary of All India Shia Conference Andhra Pradesh Branch after the demise of Mr Samsam Ali Gouhar), Mir Hassan Ali Moosvi (Moula Ali Printing Press), Parvez Effendi (son of Allama Sohail Effendi) and other prominent personality of the Shia community from Historical place Charminar which was built by Quli Qutb Shah Dynasty more than Four Hundred years back.

It may not be out of place to mention here that commencing year of the Juloos-e-Shadat-e-Ali Ibne Abu Talib^a.s the people of Hyderabad got surprised to see that thousands of mourners attended and performed Matam.

On 1397 Hijiri correspondence to 1978 A.D, under the roof of Charminar Alam-e-Mubarak was installed and Majlis-e-Aza was addressed by Zakirae Ahlaebait Late Mir Mumtaz Ali Moosvi, Matam was performed by Guroh-e- Shaida-e-Shabbir^a.s led by its founder and Nauhakhwan Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat and Late Syed Asghar Ali Khan and thousands of Matamdars and mourners of Ali Ibne Abu Talib^a.s participated in the Juloos.

Guroh-e-Shaida-e-Shabbir^a.s used to perform Matam inside Charminar and lead the Juloos-e-Shadat-e-Hzt Ali Ibne Abu Talib^a.s from Historical Charminar to Chatta Bazar then it was continued by Anjman-e-Hyderia Alhind (Ali Jaan) up to Masjid-e-Imamia, Tahmas khanpura.

Late Moulana Raza Agha, Late Moulana Zia Agha, Moulana Nabi Hassan and other Ulama and Zakireen used to participate and this is being continued till date.

After some years Anjuman Parwanae Shabbir^a.s Late Mir Ahmed Ali and Grouh e Abul Fazl Abbas Late Talib Affandi started performing Matam inside the Historic Charminar and after that Juloos was being started by Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat’s Nouha “Bewarisou Ka Kya Hai Theekana Btayeyae, Jatae Ho kispae Chodh ke Moula Bataiyae” and handed over to Anjuman Hyderia Alhind.

Initially the Juloos used to Start at Charminar and End at Masjid-e-Imamia, but after few years Late Moulana Akhtar Zaidi used to address at Gulzar house and late Moulana Raza Agha at Madina Circle. In the current scenario Moulana Hyder Agha is addressing near Madina Circle and Moulana Hyder Zaidi at Chatta Bazaar and Anjuman Al Abbas led by its president Syed Ali Raza Abedi is performing the Matam at Chatta Bazar.

ON 21^ST RAMAZAN AFTER NAMAZ-E-FAJR MATAMI JULOOS-E-TABBOOT HAZRAT ALI IBNE ABUTALIB IS BEING TAKEN OUT FROM CHARMINAR TO BADSHAHI ASHOOR KHANA BY SHIA YOUTH FEDRATION OF INDIA.

The Founders of this Juloos Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat, Mohammed Hashim Hussain and Late Jafer Ali Khan (Jaffer Nawab) took the initiative of organizing Namaz, Majlis and Juloos at the historic Charminar on the exact day and time of Martyrdom of Imam Ali^a.s.

In year 2000 under the banner of Shia Youth Federation of India, on 21^st Ramadan Namaz-e-Fajr was held at Charminar followed by Malise-Aza and Juloos was taken out by Grouh- e- Shaida-e- Shabbir^a.s performing Matam giving the message “Hai Ali Qatl Hogaye” The Juloos starts from historic Charminar and passes through Gulzar House, Pathergatthi, Madina Circle and culminate into Majlise Pursa at Badshahi Ashoorkhana.

Every year a new Alim and a Zakir is given opportunity to address the majlises at Charminar and Badshahi Ashoor khana. (PMI)
