HELD TWO PERSONS – WHO ARRANGING FAKE (COVID-19) RT-PCR NEGATIVE & VACCINATION CETIFICATES IN ABSENCE OF CUSTOMERS

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Malakpet and Humayumn Nagar police nabbed two gangs, who found in providing fake RT-PCR covid-19 certificates and fake Vaccination certificates to the needy customers and collecting huge amount illegally.
CASE–1

2) Prabhath Kumar Sangi, Age: 45 yrs, R/o Nampally.1) Fake RT-PCR covid-19 Reports (negative)-65.2) Sample collection kits – 203) Cell phones – 01
BRIEF FACTS:-
The accused P Laxman native of Mahaboobnagar.In the year 2012 he completed Diploma in medical laboratory technology (DMLT) and worked as a lab technician at different Diagnostic centres. One year back he opened one Diagnostic centre name styled as “Home Care Diagnostic Services centre” at AsmanGhad, Malakpet, Hyderabad.Later, he tied-up with MedcisPathlabs India private limited, Hyderabad to send his collected samples for testing and to get test reports.
In the pandemic situation, Covid-19 RT-PCR(Reverse transcription- Polymerase Chain Reaction) test is conducted to ruled out the presence of Covid Virus. In the present situation there is a huge demand of RT-PCR test for the persons who travel abroad and other areas. Originally the test is conducted by collecting swabs from Nose and Throat then the swab is diluted with Viral Transport Media (liquid) for further analysis. At this juncture the accused Laxman hatched a plan and to earn more money from the customers. He is simply tearing the kits and sending dummy samples to MadcisPathlabs. Likewise, he has been cheating authorities. Further, for issuing Negative reports he collecting Rs.2, 000/- to Rs. 3000/- for each certificate and earning huge profits illegally.

The accused Md. Tariq Habeeb, resident of Asif Nagar. In the year 2018 he completed Diploma in medical laboratory technology (MLT) at Medwin College, Nampally, Hyderabad. Later, he worked as a lab technician at different Diagnostic centres. One year back he opened one Diagnostic centre name styled as “Image Diagnostic centre” at Murad Nagar, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad. Later, he tied-up with deferent labs to send his collected samples for testing and to get test reports.
In the pandemic situation, the Government has been providing free Vaccination to the all citizens and arranged multiple Vaccination centres. In the present situation it is mandatory to have vaccination for travel abroad & other purposes.Actually, vaccination given in stages of 1st, 2nd and Booster doses to the citizens in physical presence. At this juncture the accused Md. Tariq Habeeb hatched a plan to earn money from the customers. Meantime he colluded with one Miss. Kumari, Computer operator at AfzalSagar, Urban Primary Heath Centre, Humayunnagar and started providing the Vaccination certificates to the customers without physical dose by collecting huge amounts. Likewise he also provides Fake RT-PCR Certificates. In this way they have been cheating innocent people and authorities. Further, for providing Vaccination certificate they are charging Rs.800/- to Rs. 1000/- for each certificate and earning huge profits illegally. Mostly, the travel agents are encouraging fake Vaccination and RT-PCR Test certificates from the accused to arrange their travel customers.
Basing on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Malakpet police and Humayun Nagar police apprehended the above accused persons and Seized Covid-19 Vaccination certificates and Fake RT-PCR Certificates. The arrested accused and seized material was handed over to respective police stations for necessary action.
