The Health Minsiter, who came to the hospital on a suggestion from Municipal Administration Minister K Tarakarama Rao, has said the State government would take over the hospital to provide improved health services in the area. It may be mentioned here that the local leaders, including MP Malla Reddy urged KTR to take over the hospital maintenance on behalf of the State government. The Secunderabad Cantoment Board was not able to maintain the escalating costs of the hospital and services are not being offered to full extent, he said.
Within 15 days, maternity and delivery facilities will be in place and related services will be started, the minister said. Though the hospital has adequate equipment and machinery, the people were not getting health services as desired, he said.
