Government of Rajasthan Accepted The Demand For CBI Probe in Anandpal Singh Encounter

Rajasthan: The state government of Rajasthan accepted the demand of the protester to conduct Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI probe in the Anandpal Singh encounter after a meeting between the government and the Rajput leader in Jaipur yesterday.

According to Home Minister Gulab Chand Katariya   Rajasthan   Government will recommend this matter to the CBI and the decision whether to investigate the case or not will up to the CBI.

The source report says  that the Rajput leaders had been protesting in Sanvarda village of Nagaur district to demand the CBI probe in the Anandpal encounter since last several days. In the protests, a man was killed and over 20 policemen were injured.

A mob also attacked a police team with stones and set an officer’s vehicle and four buses on fire during the protests.

Anand Pal Singh, 47, wanted in 37 cases including murder, was shot dead on June 24. His body was kept in a freezer for 20 days as his family demanded a CBI probe. He was cremated on Thursday, a day after the violent protests.
