Furious BJP activists burn effigy of Pak foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto

Hyderabad, Dec.17 (Press media of india): BJP activists today strongly condemned the statement of Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto and burst his effigy near Basheerbagh in protest against his statement on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP leaders and  a large number of party workers gathered at Jagjivanram statue and raised slogans against Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Butto terming his statement in the UN as “shameful, highly derogatory and defamatory”. State party chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar, City central party president Goutham Rao, Bhagyanagar party president Surender Reddy, N V Subhash and others participated in the protest rally. BJP workers raised slogans against Pakistan and its foreign minister and burnt his effigy. Later, they took a protest rally from Basheerbagh to Dr Ambedkar statue, Tank bund.

Speaking to media persons later, party’s official spokesperson N V Subhash said Bilawal Bhutto’s statement is a cheap tactic to get  publicity using  world forum in UN. Bilawal Bhutto, son of Pakistan assassinated prime minister Benazir Bhutto, had dreams to become Prime Minister of that country after death of his mother. But now, he became a foreign minister and wanted to get cheap publicity, he alleged. While India, under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi getting global popularity and has become a world leader, Pakistan and its leaders were becoming supporters of terrorism, Subhash accused.

Indian foreign minister S Jaishankar has successfully put country’s version in UN. But Pakistan foreign minister Bhutto has no moral right and stature to take name of Prime Minister Modi as that country was a harbour of Al Qaida leader Osama-bin-Laden and perpetrators of 26/11 in Mumbai.

Referring to comments of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Subhash said the former was also talking as a friend of our inimical country and not as an Opposition party leader. (PMI)
