Dec 05, 2018 , 2:53PM Senior party leaders hold back to back rallies in Rajasthan, Telangana on last day of campaigning for Assembly Elections

In Rajasthan, today is the last day of election campaigning which will stop at 5.00 p.m. All parties and candidates are doing all possible efforts to turn the mandate in their favor. Major parties BJP and Congress have put all senior leaders in campaign.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed election rally in Sumerpur in Pali district in Rajasthan. He expressed confidence that people of Rajasthan clearly in favour of BJP in Rajasthan and have decided to form BJP government once more in state. He also gave mantra to BJP workers – ‘mera polling booth, sabse mazboot’.

Attacking Congress party of spreading venom of casteism and created urban-rural divide, he said, Congress has lost election, now contemplating who to hold responsible for defeat. Referring to Supreme Court’s verdicts regarding reopening of Income Tax returns of Congress President and UPA chairperson, Mr. Modi said that Supreme Court also supported government’s stands.

BJP President Amit Shah has said that BJP practised the politics of development while Congress involved in negative politics, promoting casteism and appeasement.

Interacting with media persons in Jaipur today, He said that the Congress promoted dynastic politics, making members of one family party president, whereas BJP gives importance to those who perform and work to push the country ahead.

Referring to the violence in Bulandshahr last days, Mr. Shah said it would be unfair to give it a political colour. He said that Congress had made allegations but things would become clear after the Special Investigation Team report.

In Telangana, the high voltage and acrimonious campaigning will come to a close this evening. Senior leaders of all major parties are making all-out efforts to garner electors’ support for their candidates.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be reaching Kodad to address a public meeting in a short while from now.

Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath is campaigning in Karimnagar, Mudhol and Bhupalpally today.
