CP CYB SRI VC SAJJANAR IPS ISSUED GUIDELINES FOR OPERATING IT/ITES INDUSTRY

Hyderabad May 9 (PMI): In GO MS No 64 dated 07-05-2020 in point No 12  the Telangana Government, allowing the IT / ITES Industry to work with up to 33%  work force,  in Red Zones including GHMC area with the remaining persons to work from home.

With reference to the above mentioned GO MS No. 64, dated 07-05-2020, of the Telangana Government, allowing the IT / ITES Industry to work with up to 33% work force, to ensure the smooth operation of the IT / ITES Industry by following all the standard operating systems for containing the Virus Spread, Sri, V C Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad has organized a meeting with the Industry Bodies Viz., SCSC, HYSEA and NASSCOM along with the IT / ITES Industry Heads and issued the below guidelines;

  1.  Companies are suggested to follow a staggered ramp up plan to reach this 33% in phased manner, without rushing it all at once in the beginning. And this 33% of strength is across all shifts including critical operations during night hours, Contract staff etc.
  2.  Companies are suggested to follow staggered timings (Login between 7 am to 10 am; Logout between 3 pm to 6pm). Management of IT Parks & large campuses to monitor this by building, tenant etc within each IT Park
  3. Authorization letters for Employees & Cabs are strictly to be utilized for the purpose of travelling from Home to office & back home. Every employee MUST carry authority letter along with ID Card to commute to & for work.
  4.  Movements are strictly restricted during curfew hours (7pm to 7am).
  5. Companies can engage buses to the maximum extent, following social distancing norms to reduce the no. of individual vehicles on the road
  6. Companies MUST ensure all Health, safety & hygiene measures are taken care as per the guidelines issued by the Telangana Health Department like ensuring wearing of mask, maintain social distancing, sanitizing, hand wash, etc.,
  7. Social distancing norms for all vehicles used by employees including those operated by company like Cabs & Buses. 2 Passengers besides driver for 4-wheeler and No pillion rider for 2 Wheeler. Company operated buses – with 50% occupancy.
  8. Do not allow gathering of employees outside of IT parks, campuses which encourages street hawkers and other activities on roads. Strict action will be initiated if any violations are observed
  9. Do not operate the Cafeteria until further notice.
  10. No socializing or gathering of employees in common areas within the IT companies or IT parks to be allowed. (Press Media of India)
