On Saturday, they included Warangal district Congress president Naini Rajender Reddy as A-4 in the FIR. Also, two other leaders Pothula Sriman as A-5 and Kanuganti Sekhar as A-6 were added to the FIR. Police officials said that based on the confession made by the three attackers, the Congress leaders were included in the FIR.

However, the Congress leaders termed the police action as political vendetta. “The names have were added for political gains. The deceased Anishetty Murali is our close friend and we are shocked by the brutal murder,” Rajender Reddy said.
It may be recalled that the Warangal corporator (44th Division) was brutally murdered on Thursday evening in his own house by three attackers. The front room of Murali’s house was replete with blood as he was attacked with hunting sickles, axes and knives. The three attackers, identified as Vikram, Vishal and Chiranjeevi, then went to the Hanamkonda police station and surrendered before the police informing the cops that they killed Murali Manohar. They also carried with them the weapons used in the attack and handed them over to the police.
