Chandravadan, Akun Fault Charmee moving Court, to Conduct Dope Test in Drugs Case

Hyderabad: Excise Commissioner Chandravadan and Director-General Akun Sabharwal today said cine actress Charmee has unnecessarily moved the High Court in Drugs case.

Interacting with media persons at Secretariat here today, they said the actress has indirectly accepted that she was involved in the drug case by moving the court. Charmee will attend the investigation on Wednesday. The investigation officials are inviting wrath from the Opposition parties and a section of society and media on drugs case. They have decided to press in special kiosks used for narcotics and Athletic dope test from Delhi to unravel truth in the Drugs case, they said, adding that investigation was going on as per norms.

The SIT was not calling anyone and the culprits, were coming for investigation and their details are being recorded. Some of those attending the inquiry are revealing the names of top heroes and producers and raking up Andhra and Telangana issue though arrests will be made after finding the facts. They refused the remarks that they are targeting just the cinema field or a particular section as a section of the media was reporting. The cinema field was vertically split in this regard.

Besides taking into custody some Nigerians and others involved in the Drugs case, the SIT, Excise and Intelligence wings have kept a tight vigil over pubs, schools, colleges and other places which are prone for drugs’ sale and consumption, they clarified. Everyday about four kg ganja and contraband are being recovered by the police, they added.
