Campaigning intensifies for first phase of Gujarat assembly elections

Gujrat’Non’21-2022-Poll campaigning has intensified for the first phase of polling in Gujarat. Star campaigners of all the major political parties participated in the campaigning on Monday.

BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed three public rallies at Surendranagar, Jambusar and Navsari today. Union Minister Amit Shah also campaigned in Saurashtra Kutch Region. Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi kick-started the party’s poll campaign today by addressing rallies at Surat and Rajkot.

Voting for the 89 seats of Saurashtra, Kutch and South Gujarat will be held on 1 December in the first phase of the polls. The process of withdrawal of nominations for the second phase ended today.

Addressing rallies in the South Gujarat region today, PM highlighted that the massive transformation of Gujarat was possible because people voted for BJP. The PM said with the Mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, the BJP government has ensured the well-being of all societies. Mr. Modi hit upon opposition for neglecting the farmers and tribals. On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who launched the party’s poll campaigning today, criticized the government on unemployment, GST roll out in the country. Aam Aadmi Chief Arvind Kejriwal intensively campaigned in Amreli while Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan held roadshows in Valsad district today.
