Hyderabad,  Maharashtra governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao was invited to attend the  Samakka-Sarakka jatra in Telangana.
The invitation was extended by a delegation of Telangana BJP led by Dr K Laxman. The governor is not averse to attend the Girijana jatra.
Telangana BJP is inviting chief ministers and governors of neighbouring states on the border for attending the Medaram jatra.
The delegation members who called on the Maharashtra governor include state party vice president Dr T Rajeshwar Rao, general secretary G Premender Reddy, ex-MLAs Chanda Lingaiah Dora, Vannela Sriramulu, and  SC morcha national secretary Amarsingh Pawar.
