Ample scope for investments in TS: KTR

 

Hyderabad, May. 27 (PMI): IT Minister KT Rama Rao today said that there is ample scope for investments and business expansion in Telangana.

During his tour in Santa Clara in United States of America the IT Minister held discussions with noted IT, Data, Gaming companies and urged them to come up with investments and set up their businesses in the state of Telangana. Informing them about the IT and industrial policies and hassle free permissions he said that Hyderabad has many specialities like no other cities in India and availability of skilled youth is additional strength.

During his discussions with the delegates of IT SERVE company he informed that the government is offering several incentives and subsidies being offered for the new companies and industries to set up their units and expand the existing ones in the state. The minister promised to offer land and cooperation for the company to set up a Signature Tower in Hyderabad. He asked Dell Company and its sister concern VMware which is into Data Analytics to invest in the state. He said that the Telangana government is extensively using data analytics in its services in implementing various schemes.

Seeking VMware to focus on investing more funds in data analytics KTR asked the company to send a delegation to Hyderabad for the purpose. In another meeting with noted gaming and animation giant Electronics Arts (EA) he said that there are ample opportunities in the entertainment, gaming sectors in the state. The government will offer all help and cooperation for investing in these sectors in Telangana he said. KTR said that even animation projects are being taken up at world level for Hollywood Films and animation for the famous Telugu Film Bahubali was also done in Hyderabad. Telangana industrial policy also includes the special policy for Gaming he said adding that the government plans to set up a game city in Hyderabad.
