Amit Shah begins poll drive from Nalgonda Says BJP will wrest power in TS in 2019

Hyderabad/Nalgonda, May.22 (PMI): Alleging that the Central schemes were not being properly implemented by the TRS government in Telangana State, BJP national president Amit Shah exhorted his party workers and leaders to strive to take the Central schemes to the masses at field level. He also exuded confidence that his party would wrest power in the State in the 2019 elections.

Participating in several programs in Teratpally village in Chundur mandal of Nalgonda district, Amit Shah said the absence of public and individual toilets in the district proved that the Central schemes were not reaching the people at field level and suggested to the party cadre to work hard to strengthen the party in the State. Development should take place in Telangana State like the country achieved progress under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, adding that Modi was burning midnight oil for the welfare of the people and development of the country. Reiterating that the BJP would steal the show in Telangana State in the ensuing 2019 elections and form the government, Amit Shah said he has arrived in the State on a three-day visit to strengthen the party.

Earlier, on arrival at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad this morning, Amit Shah was received by State BJP president K. Laxman, party’s floor leader in Assembly G. Kishan Reddy and others.  From the airport, Amit straighaway left for Nalgonda district by road. He reached Teratpally village under Chundur mandal at 1.25 pm and hoisted BJP flag. He visited every door in the village and enquired about the implementation of Central schemes in the district. He also consoled 16 families in the village.
