Airlines lift entry ban on JC

Hyderabad, July.19 (PMI): Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy today got a relief from the ban on travelling in domestic airlines with the Indigo Airlines lifting the ban imposed on Diwakar Reddy on Wednesday.

It may be recalled that Diwakar Reddy entered into a heated argument with the Indigo officials at Vizag Airport as the latter refused to give him and his gunmen boarding passes when he reached Airport late than scheduled time.  JC also pulled the computer and tried to throw it down. Reacting to it, the domestic airlines imposed a ban on JC preventing him from travelling in domestic airlines.

Indigo, Air India, Jet Airways, Go Air, Air Asia, Spice Jet and Turbo Mega Airways imposed ban on JC. JC approached Hyderabad High Court to direct the airlines to lift ban imposed on him as he has to attend the ongoing monsoon Parliament session. The High Court refused to grant interim stay on the ban he was facing. On the other hand, the Court made it clear that it will react only after hearing the version of airlines and issued to all airlines, which imposed ban on JC, along with Civil Aviation Ministry secretary and director general of civil aviation.
