 348 vehicles were seized under the jurisdiction of the Warangal Police Commissionerate; ACP Traffic  Madhusudan

Warangal’Feb13’2023-PMI)WarangalCommissionerate Traffic ACP disclosed that cheating cases have been registered against the respective vehicle owners who seized 348 vehicles that were roaming without registration number plates within the jurisdiction of Warangal Police Commissionerate. Ever since AV Ranganath took charge as Warangal Police Commissioner, special attention has been paid to motorists violating traffic rules in the Tri City area as well as in the Commissionerate area. Part of this is non-registration. According to the orders of the Police Commissioner, daily inspections have been conducted jointly with the Warangal Traffic Police and the Law and Order Police from the first day of last month to identify the vehicles with morphed, number plate tampering, masked number plates and register cheating against the vehicle owners and seize the vehicles. As part of this, a total of 348 vehicles were seized in Warangal Police Commissionerate, including 4 cars, 1 auto, 343 two-wheelers, 93 vehicles in Warangal Traffic Police Station, 126 in Hanumakonda and 72 in Kazipet were seized by traffic police and handed over to the respective police stations. The Traffic ACP revealed that cheating cases have been registered against the owners of the surrendered vehicles at the respective police stations.
