The 40^th day (Chehloom) of Shouda-e-Karbala was observed on 20^th Safar 1442H corresponding to 08^th October 2020. Hazrat Imam Hussain^a.s the second grandson of Prophet Mohammed Mustafa^s.a.w.s offered martyrdom in the battle of Karbala on the day of Ashoora (10^th Moharram 61H) to protect Islam from the hands of Yazeed bin Muavia (clan of Abusufian). All the people across the globe irrespective of religion, cast and creed even such people who they do not believe in Almighty Allah (God) they also believe and give respect to martyrdom of Imam Hussain.^a.s

This year on 10^th Muharram 1442 (H) corresponding to 30-08-2020 Self-flagellation (Khooni Matami) was not observed by the mourners and Azadar-Imam-e-Hussain^a.s but on the day of “Chehloom-e-Imam Hussain^a.s” Self-Flagellation procession (Khooni Matami Juloos) was taken out and marked thousands of matamdar doing Self-flagellation and Momeneen wo momeenaat including the mourners of different neighboring States attended the procession and performed zanjeer and zani, khooni matam.

The Procession of Arabaeen was taken out under the surveillance and supervision of legal president of Markazi Anjuman Matamki Gurohaan Najaf Ali Shoukat and body members Vice presidents Janab Ameer Ali Shahnawaz, Janab Mir Mazhar Ali Khan Razvi, Janab Syed Ali Abbas (Mohammed Pasha) G. Secretary Syed Ali Raza Abedi, Joint Secretary Syed Najabat Hussain of Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S.

 

The installation of Alam-e-Mubarak of Hzt Imam Zain-ul-Abedin^a.s as usual was done in the presence of president Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan Hyderabad T. S Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat, body members and Alambardas Mr Tahwar Ali Khan and his brother Mir Azhar Ali sons of Late Qari Mir Shujaat Ali Khan and the son and grandson of Late Mir Shafaqat Ali Khan inside of Masjid-e-Jaffari Kotlay Alijah Hyderabad.

All the Alambardars followed the instruction of President (MAMG) Mr Syed Najaf Ali Shoukat to carry their duties of Alam-e-Mubarak from Masjid-e- to Alawa-e-Sartauq Mubarak, Dar-ul-Shafa and all of them carried the Alam-e-Mubarak peacefully at their respective places.

Matami Gurohaan and Anjumans participated in Arabeen Juloos and performed Khooni Matam were Anjuman-e-Naseran-e-Aza, Anjuman-e-Shahedaan-e-Karbala, Anjuman Karwan-e-Aza, Guroh-e-Mohiban-e-Hussain, Anjuman Shahda-e-Ali Asghar, Anjuman-e-Masoomin, Anjuman-e-Ali Akbar, Anjuman-e-Sada-e-Zehra, Anjuman-e-Iranian Deccan, Anjuman-e-Alamdar-e-Hussaini, Anjuman-e-Aoun-o-Mohammed, Anjuman-e-Hyderya Al-Hind, Guroh-e-Jafferi (Aga Abbasi), Guroh-e-Asghar-e-Besheer, Guroh-e-Kazmi, Anjuman-e-PArwan-e-Shabbir, Guroh-e-Panjetani and Dast-e-Naseraan-e-Hussain.  A large number of Matamdar/Khooni Matamdar were seen in Anjuman-al-Abbas led by its president Syed Raza Ali Abedi (G. Secretary Markazi Anjuman Matami Gurohaan). Guroh-e-Shaida-e-Shabbir^a.s as usual started Khooni Matam at 03.00 PM from Ali Villa Purani Havely and ended it at Dar-ul-Shafa around 04.15 PM.

Few people also performed self-flagellation (Khooni matam) in the procession taken out by Iranian Anjuman on arbayeen.

While Guroh-e-Jafferi (Aga Abbasi) was performing matam the Alam-e-Mubarak of Hzt Imam-e-Zainul Abedin^a.s and Alam-e-Mubarak-e- Estaghbalia Jaber ibne Abdullah Ansari were coinsided near Dar-ul-Shafa by 10.00 PM.
