BJP, Congress can’t take on TRS; Give 5-lakh vote majority to Prabhakar Reddy

Hyderabad, March 23 (PMI): Former minister T Harish Rao today flagged off TRS election campaign vehicles at Patancheru on the city outskirts in support of K Prabhakar Reddy, TRS candidate from Medak Lok Sabha constituency. Harish Rao also said both the Congress and the BJP can give stiff competition to the TRS in the Lok Sabha polls.

Harish Rao appealed to the constituents to vote for Prabhakar Reddy to get five-lakh vote majority in the election. The former minister said the entire nation was looking towards the Telangana State and implementing several welfare schemes. He exuded confidence that the TRS will be in a position to decide Prime Minister candidate after the general elections.

“We are going to be very active at the Centre and achieve our rights for development of the infant State. The BJP Government had insulted the Telangana State by not giving funds for flagship programs and development. The Centre led by BJP has ignored our plea to accord national status to Kaleshwaram project. This time, as neither the BJP nor the Congress would get simple majority to form government at the Centre, a coalition government of regional parties will be formed and the TRS will play a pivotal role at the Centre”, Harish added.

Contesting candidate Prabhakar Reddy also spoke. (PMI)
