Yeddyurappa likely to swear in tomorrow

Bengaluru: The BJP chief ministerial face BS Yeddyurappa is likely to take oath as the Karnataka chief minister on Thursday, according to sources. Yeddyurappa staked claim to form a government on Wednesday with the governor Vajubhai Vala.
He submitted a letter requesting the governor to invite him to form the government in the state.
On the other hand, a delegation of Congress-JDS combine met the governor Wednesday evening and submitted letters of support for forming the government.
 
Earlier on Wednesday, a BJP legislature party meeting was held in the presence of union ministers JP Nadda, Prakash Javadekar and Dharmendra Pradhan electing Yeddyurappa as the party’s leader of the house.
