During this time, he penned more than 4,000 poetries, including popular Pakistani song ‘Hawa Hawa Aye Hawa’ sung by Hassan Jahangir and ‘Khushboo Ban Kay Mehak Raha Hai’.

After some time, Dr Azmi lost touch with songwriting and established a connection with praise and salutation and became a poet of mourning literature.

He has more than 25 books of mourning literature to his name. Dr Azmi also won many medals at the international and national level for his work.

Not much is known as to how the poet passed away, but his fans mourn and pray as #RehanAzmi trends number 1 on Twitter.

He was apparently hospitalized and was in a poor health condition.

Once a Shia scholar named Talib Jauhari shared a few remarks on the poetry book by Rehan Azmi by saying, “Why does every Nauha reader want to recite Nauha written by Rehan? How come he fulfills the demand of all Nauha reciters? These were questions of my surprise; I got satisfied when I personally saw Rehan begging this literacy treasure from Hazrat Imam Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (AS) at his shrine in Najaf.”

The blogger like millions of Rehan Azmi admirers never met him personally but always found him to close to the heart through his deeds. Hardly in his late twenties, Salman contributed much to emerge to be regarded as the final stone when it comes to delivery of Hussaini Kalam.

When stricken with multiple issues and rushed to the hospital after his condition deteriorated, prayers were offered across the globe for his recovery but destiny cut short his remarkable life.
