‘TRS men responsible for death of Vemula Srinivas’

Hyderabad: MLC from Congress party Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy has alleged that the local TRS leaders were the reason for the death of Congress activist Vemula Srinivas in Khammam district couple days ago.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday at Assembly media point, Ponguleti said that the TRS leaders were killed Srinivas as he had become hurdle in the way to their atrocities. The government failed to react on Srinivas’s murder took place on road, he said and asked intelligence to tell as to what it was doing in the state and pulled Chief Minister to tell whether he was not receiving information. Expressing doubt saying whether Bangaru Telangana means this, Ponguleti demanded the Chief Minister to tell the answer to it.

The police were not arresting the culprits succumbing to the pressure from ruling party leaders. The Chief Minister has to won the responsibility of murder incident. “We will meet the Chief Minister along with family members of deceased. The DGP has assured that the department will initiate action against the culprits”, he said. The scene of roaming every house by the children of deceased seeking support was painful; he bemoaned and said that he will visit the village along with important Congress leaders on September 21 to infuse confidence among the deceased family members.

Asking the KCR government to tell as to what it was doing as Andhra Pradesh government was looting the Krishna water through Pothireddypadu, Ponguleti alleged that the KCR government behaving in a manner that it was mortgaging the interests of state. Asking KCR to tell as to where gone the words spoken before the formation of separate Telangana state, MLC said that KCR failed to mount pressure on the centre. He demanded the state government to mount pressure on the centre to get water to Nagarjuna Sagar project. The state government left Polavaram issue to the wind, he alleged and expressed concern saying that there was no value to the words spoken in the Assembly by the Chief Minister in this regard.
