Hyderabad, Jan.26 (PMI): TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday hoisted national flag on the occasion of 70th Republic Day at Gandhi Bhavan.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam launched a scathing attack against the State and Central governments saying both of them destroyed all democratic institutions, which were built 70 years ago in the country during the last five years of their rule. Giving credit to the Congress for building all the democratic institutions, the TPCC chief said there was an urgent need to protect all those institutions in the country. He made it clear that they would continue to work for the welfare of the people in the days to come. He exhorted party workers to get ready for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the State.
