In Jammu and Kashmir, the results of 223 District Development Council (DDC) seats out of 280 seats have been declared, so far.
BJP is leading the tally by winning 60 seats followed closely by J&K National Conference with 53 seats. Independents have won 39 seats while Mehbooba Mufti’s Peoples Democratic Party bagged 25 seats.
Indian National Congress has won 20 seats so far while J&K Apni Party has got 9 seats.
CPI(M) got 6 seats while J&K Peoples Conference bagged 5 seats. JKPM got 3 seats while one seat each has been won by J&K National Panthers Party, PDF and Bahujan Samaj party(BSP). All the results are expected after midnight.
