Ready for debate on Dalit welfare: Talasani to Cong

Hyderabad, Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lashed out at the Congress for its rhetoric against the government and for resorting to opportunistic politics.

Addressing a media conference at Secretariat here the minister challenged for an open debate on three years rule of the TRS Government and 60 years rule of the previous governments. We are ready for the debate at Assembly or any other place of the Congress choice he said. He accused the Congress party of dumping the Dalits and ignoring the plight of the farmers and irrigation and farm sectors. Congress talking on Dalit welfare is tantamount to ghosts preaching Vedas he charged.

The congress is known for its conspiracies against the BC and SC leaders. The congress top leadership belittled its removed its own BC leader from PCC Chief post and set aside Batti Vikramarka being a Dalit he said. He slammed the Congress for making false allegations on the government with regard to attacks on Dalits and welfare. The Congress is known for internal squabbles and resorting to mud-slinging on the government on schemes and development programs. The minister warned that cases will be filed against the congress leaders for wrong allegations. In democracy any leader or person can go anywhere and talk to people and TJAC Chief Prof Kodandaram has addressed a meeting at Gajwel. Similarly we have no objection to Meira Kumar to address the public meeting at Siricilla, wherein police imposed 144 CrPC to avoid tense situation he clarified.

Srinivas Yadav found fault with the Congress for former Lok Sbha Speaker Meira Kumar to address at Siricilla. He said that whoever come and hold meeting and meet people, the government has no objection. However, when there is tense situation the Police department has imposed Section 144 and trying to gain out of the situation politically.

He refuted the allegations on the government by raising the Siricilla issue, where one person died due to lorry accident. Some local people burnt 5 Lorries and the police has taken the action and arrested some of them who are involved. He slammed the Congress for trying to malign the image by saying that the government is against Dalits. The people are aware of what the three years rule has done for upliftment of Dalits, BCs and poor by taking up several welfare schemes and ready to give the details. The Congress party which was in power for 40 years has done nothing for the people but they themselves fought against each other for the power and status, he said.
