Patiala: Women tie ‘Rakhis’ on the wrist of the army personnel on the eve of ‘Raksha Bandhan’

Raksha Bandhan, the festival of the special bond between brothers and sisters, was celebrated today across the country with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, sisters tie colourful rakhi around the wrist of their brothers and pray for their prosperity, health and well-being.

In return, brothers pledge to protect and support their sisters and present them gifts. President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President M Veinkaiah Naidu and PM Modi have greeted the people on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan
