RACHAKONDA COMMISSIONERATE COVID-19 CONTROL ROOM EFFECTIVELY HELPING CITIZENS

Hyderabad 03rd April (PMI): The COVID Control Room in Rachakonda at number 9490617234 has been operational since the lockdown started and has been effectively answering the queries and guiding the citizens regarding COVID related issues. On 2nd April, the control Room received 90 calls. Out of these 25 calls were directed to the police station for taking necessary action, 10 calls redirected to other departments and 55 queries have been resolved. While nearly 49 are past related queries, 7 calls were also received offering volunteer service, 12 seeking help with regard to food, health or medical reasons, 6 were Corona related and 4 interstate travel and others.

Two lockdown violations cases have been booked in Motakondur for keeping open the chicken shop and a kirana shop selling mutton beyond the time of relaxation period i.e. after 0600 to 1800 hrs and thereby violated the Govt. Orders during Lockdown.

Rachakonda Police, on 02.04.2020, verified 2136 suspect persons out of a total of 2486 suspect persons.  Of these 6 are positive cases and 2136 are home quarantined.

So far, 1183 passports have been seized and handed over to district authorities.

14 violation cases, 179 e-petty cases have been booked in the Commissionerate. In these 193 cases, 218 persons have been found violating the regulations. Also 54 two wheelers, 6 three wheelers and 12 four wheelers have been seized (Press Media of India).
