Priority for employment generation: KTR

Hyderabad, July.14 (PMI): Telangana Government is according top priority for employment generation,  IT & Industries Minister KT Rama Rao today said.

The minister was launching APJ Abdul Kalam AleapGreen Industrial Park at Nandigam under Patancheru mandal on the city outskirts. He also planted saplings as part of Harithaharam besides laying foundation for V Hub.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that he was fortunate to launch the park on the name of former President Abdul Kalam. The TRS Government aims to create an atmosphere that will pave way for offering jobs and more employment opportunities in the state. The new industrial policy first of its kind in independence India is providing a lot of employment generation besides adding to economic growth of the state. Visionary Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has nurtured the idea of giving hassle free permissions to industries and companies to set up their shops and expanding the existing ones he said.

Besides getting accolades from the Centre, the industrial policy is being replicated in many other states, he claimed. He also said that every industry, company applied will get permissions in 15 days otherwise on 16th day they are being considered deemed to have got permissions he said adding that the officials are being penalised with Rs 1000 a day for not giving permissions on time. “We have been getting tremendous response from multi-national companies and noted industries that are evincing keen interest to rope in with investments and providing jobs to youth the minister remarked. He said that under Harithaharam project Telangana is planting 47 crores of saplings this phase for green cover expansion while other states are planting only 50 crores, he said.

The minister also said that for 70 years no government in the state had any idea to provide potable waters to rural pockets, which is now becoming a reality under Mission Bhagiratha scheme. KCR’s plan to provide safe waters to every household is getting fructified as the works are nearing completion to provide internet facility simultaneously, KT stated. Mission Kakatiya scheme was able to revive about 46000 lakes and water bodies giving ample scope for rural people to get back to farming, fishing and get work locally without the need for migrating to other States for livelihood.

He also said the T Idea is encouraging women industrialists, startup companies through T Hub, giving skills training for youth to get jobs easily through TASK. The mega textiles park coming up in Warangal will provide about 2 lakhs of jobs the minister said adding that an Apprel Park will be launched in Siricilla town. (PMI)
