Hyderabad, : Transport Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy today gave active TRS membership to former MP Kavitha. The minister met Kavitha at her residence here and offered membership in the ruling party as part of membership drive continuing across the State.
The ministers, in-charges, MLAs, MLCs were coordinating with the local leaders to offer membership in all the districts. Taking a cue from Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and TRS working president KT Rama Rao’s direction to the leaders to offer membership to as many as 50,000 to 60,000 new persons in every Assembly constituency,. Prashanth Reddy said the people are keen to join the ruling party with hope of welfare and development schemes.
“We will go beyond the target given with regard to membership in the segments”, he said. Reddy also said the TRS aims to protect the rights of the people and fulfill aspirations of the people. The membership of the TRS was going on in a festive mood and in full swing as the people’s response was good, he noted.
