Hyderabad, Jan.1 (PMI): Noted actor of South Indian film industry Prakash Raj has announced that he would enter politics and contest in the upcoming Parliament elections.
He made this announcement on his twitter account marking the New Year. While thanking his fans and followers on the occasion of the new year, Prakash Raj said he has decided to plunge into politics and contest in the upcoming elections. He added that he would contest as an independent candidate.
Prakash Raj also said he would reveal the details of the seat that he would contest elections from very soon. It may be noted here that Prakash Raj has become the fiercest critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all right wing organizations after the brutal murder of his journalist friend Gouri Lankesh.
