Hyderabad, Sept.24 (PMI): The Rachakonda police today arrested five persons who posed as policemen and robbed gutkha vendors on national highways. The police recovered property worth Rs. 22.08 lakh, including cash of Rs.3.51 lakh, 1800 US Dollars, gold ornaments, foreign currency and other valuables, from the culprits.

They also took away 1800 US$  from  one of the victims, apart from gold ornaments and also shifted 13 bags of gutkha in to their vehicle.
On credible information, the sleuths of Special Operations Team along with Ghatkesar police apprehended the five accused at Yamnampet cross road, Ghatkesar today.
