Nizammudin Markaz case: Delhi Police to file 12 fresh charge sheets today against foreigners

Delhi Police will file 12 fresh charge sheets today against foreigners who are accused in the Nizammudin Markaz case. These charge sheets are in addition to the 35 charge sheets which were filed in the last two days.

Delhi Police said, these fresh 12 charge sheets will be filed against 536 foreigners who belong to three different countries. Delhi Police have already filed charge sheets against 374 foreigners from 32 countries.

The accused are being charged under the violation of visa rules, violation of government’s guidelines and regulations related to Epidemic Diseases Act, violation of the provisions of the Disaster Management Act and violation of the prohibitory orders under section 144 CrPC. Delhi police also charged them under section 269 and 271 of IPC for negligence and disobeying the quarantine rules.
