MRPS leaders urge TTDP chief to help release Krishna Madiga from jail

Hyderabad,  MRPS leaders today met Telangana TDP president L Ramana and sought his help in release of Manda Krishna Madiga from the jail.

The MRPS action committee set up to protest arrest of Manda Krishna Madiga, urged the TTDP State president to attend round table conference arranged at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendra on Tuesday to protest against the arrest of its leader.

            Condemning the arrest of Manda Krishna Madiga, Ramana said the former was arrested by the TRS government when he demanded that Chief Minister KCR lead an all-party delegation to Delhi to mount pressure on the Union government for categorization of SCs. Similarly, TDP leader Onteru Pratap Reddy was arrested and sent to jail when he was on his way to console the family members of OU student Murali, who had committed suicide, Ramana deplored. He also alleged that KCR was trying to suppress the voice of the people and demanded release of Krishna Madiga and Pratap Reddy.

At a separate program at NTR trust bhavan, “Telangana Pasupu Sainyam Calendar-2018” was released. Party president L Ramana and politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy were present.

Qutubullapur constituency in-charge Burgubavi Hanumanth Rao, Jayant, Surender Yadav and others also participated in the program.
