Guntur, The address of Nalgonda Two Town Police Station CI Venkateshwarlu, who went missing for the last 24 hours, was found at Suryalanka in Bapatla mandal of Guntur district on Saturday.
On receipt of the information of the whereabouts of the missing CI, the Nalgonda police rushed to the spot and found Venkateshwarlu there. Venkateshwarlu rented a resort on a different name and caught him intelligently. Inspector General Stephen Ravindra confirmed whereabouts of CI Venkateshwarlu. On the other hand, Venkateshwarlu said he went to Suryalanka for mental peace. The Nalgonda Police team returned to Nalgonda along with CI Venkateshwarlu.
It may be mentioned here that CI Venkateshwarlu, who was investigating officer in Nalgonda municipal chairperson Boddupalli Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas murder case, was missing since Friday. Venkateshwarlu deposited his official SIM-card at Madgulapalli police station and switched off his personal phone too. Venkateshwarlu handed over his revolver to his driver and left the Nalgonda.
It is learnt that Venkateshwarlu suffered mental tension with the two murders in Nalgonda town. It is also learnt that the higher officials chided Venkateshwarlu with regard to two murder cases
