Maxi Vision takes out rally on good eye health

Hyderabad,  Hyderabad-based Maxi Vision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals unveiled a mega awareness campaign “An eye for others eyes to help see the world better” campaign on preventive eye care today to mark the World Sight Day.

It implies that as a responsible citizen of India, it is also a social accountability of all to help a blind or half-blind see better. The emphasis is on the young and educated generation to help guide one another person, who is grappling with vision problems, to a proper eye care.

World Sight Day aims to draw people’s attention on eye health and vision related ailment observed across globe every year on the second Thursday in October. The MaxiVision super specialty eye hospitals also conducted a rally which was flagged off by Dr Kasu Prasad Reddy, Founder & Mentor of the hospital pn Necklace road. The rally concluded at Liberty crossroads. Hundreds of students participated in the rally carrying placards with messages on the significance of good eye health.

M. Sivaprasad, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police said some 20million children were suffering from visual problems.
