Marri questions KCR’s silence on national status to Kaleshwaram

Siddipet,  Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had redesigned the irrigation projects to fill the pockets of contracts, senior Congress leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy has asked as to why the Chief Minister was not asking Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accord national status to the Kaleswaram project.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Marri made it clear that his party was not against the projects but questioned the TRS MPs what they were doing when the State was meted out injustice in the Union Budget. Dubbing MPs as “waste fellows”, Marri accused Governor ESL Narasimhan of roaming around temples only.
