Mallu alleges PMO involvement in Rafale deal

Hyderabad, Feb.9 (PMI): TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi on Saturday alleged that Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) was involved in the execution of the Rafale deal and added that the Defence Ministry confirmed this in its letter. He also said the Defence Minister did not term the letter written by her minister as wrong .

Mallu Ravi felt that the Prime Minister should not get involved in Defence ministry. He alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sole intention was to help his friend Anil Ambani’s company instead of government-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

Addressing the media here today, Mallu said the acts of the PMO were a clear indication of the fact that the ruling BJP leaders wanted to loot the public money. He alleged that the BJP leaders were speaking with an objective to mislead the people of the country. Ravi said it was the Congress party, which initiated the process of purchase of Rafale aircraft. He asked the BJP-led NDA government to rectify its mistakes and come out clean on the controversial deal in order to clear the doubts raised by the people of the country.
