Hyderabad, : The Mala Mahanadu today paid tributes to scarified persons on the occasion of 25th anniversary of “Mala Mahanadu protest” here on Sunday.
Addressing the media here today, Mala Mahandu State president P Srikrishna said while P V Rao launched protests for uniting Malas for self-respect, Manda Krishna Madiga staged protests for begging and amassed several crores of rupees in the name of MRPS. He pointed out that Manda Krishna called BJP leaders to social justice meeting, but not leaders like Mayawati or Ram Vilas Paswan for the meet.
The association paid tributes to those sacrificed their lives and thanked who participated in Mala protests. Mala Mahanadu leaders B. Raghunath, M Shanker, M Laxmi Naryana, M Thirupathaiah and N Rama Lingam were present.
