Hyderabad, Nov.17 (PMI): IT & Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today lauded the team of engineers and workers involved in the construction of Cable Bridge on Durgam Cheruvu in the hitec city here.
The bridge was being built at a cost of Rs 184 crore and nearing completion, he said. Sharing photos of the hanging bridge, the minister said out of 53 blocks only three are to be fixed as part of the project. Two blocks were simultaneously fixed on Saturday by using modern technology. KTR said the bridge will be opened for public on completion and the spot will be a tourist destination. The bridge will reduce travel distance and traffic woes near the BR Ambedkar University, Inorbit Mall, Madhapur, Hitec City and Jubilee Hills.
