Hyderabad, IT Minister, K Tarak Rama Rao today received a key invitation to participate in the 48th World Economic Forum meet at Davos. The meeting is scheduled to be held on January 17 and 18. The minister got a rare invitation as he already participated in a similar program in Delhi and also attracted world leaders through his oratory skills during a GES 2017 in Hyderabad. In this meeting, representatives for the top entrepreneurs, Academicia, NGOs from the world will be participating. Getting the invitation, the Minister is feeling happiness over it.
KTR expressed pleasure at the invitation and to participate in the Davos event. Union Ministers, Chief Ministers and top level leaders used to get such an invitation of international importance. Ease of doing business, business rankings and government policies for industrial expansion and IT growth are some factors that were considered for extending invitation to the minister. About 2500 delegates from various nations including companies CEOs and Chairmen will participate in the Davos meeting. KTR will showcase at the meeting about Telangana Government efforts for industrial expansion, hassle free permissions for setting up industries and investment opportunities.
Telangana Resident Commissioner in Delhi, Arvind Kumar, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan will accompany the minister for Davos Economic summit.
