KCRs perform Chandi Yagam on fourth day

Hyderabad, Jan.24 (PMI): Fourth day of Sahasra Chandi Yagam being performed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, intended for prosperity of the country, commenced with different rituals in the forenoon session.

In the morning session at the yaga shala, Chandrashekar Rao, along with his wife Shobha, performed rituals at the Rajasyamala Mother goddess mandap. As Sri Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Maha Saraswati, Swarupini with Suvarna Mantrapushpams, the KCR couple offered prayers to Rajasyamala Devi. Ruthviks chanting Veda mantras acclaiming the Mother Goddess with holy mantras “Sarvamangala Mangalye… Sri Rajasyamala Dyveya namaste… and others. At the Rajasyamala mandap, the couple sought blessings of the pundits.

Later, KCRs have taken part in Maharudra Mandap prayers. Maharudra-sahita Rudra-ekadasi pathanam, Rudra namakam, Rudra chamakam and other chantings were recited. As part of Panchakshari Japam Siva Siva Sankara bhoota pateh, Sankara Siva, Sambho Mahadeva, Hara Hara Mahadeva and other prayers reverberated the yaga sala. At the Brahma Swaroopini Bagalamukhi Mandap, KCR and his wife were blessed by the pundits uttering Veda mantras. At Navagraha mandap, recitation of Aditya Hrudayam, Surya Namaskarams were conducted. At Chandimata main yaga sala, prayers were offered to Raja Rajeswari Mother goddess. Bhuvaneswari, Bramhanda Kutumbini, Sri Gananadha Parvati Nandana, Papavimochana and other prayers were performed. Ruthviks recited Chandi saptasati parayanam for 400 times. The Veda pundits recited Subhashitams for the benefit of the visiting guests, while making them understand the prominence of such yagnam. Mahaharathi forenoon rituals were also concluded. (PMI)
