KCR urges Nalsar varsity to introduce legal courses

Hyderabad, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said that Nalsar University has been offering quality and value based education and got accolades at national level.

Participating at 15th convocation of the varsity here, KCR presented gold medals to 49 students and Law Degree Certificates to 406 students. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister urged the NalsarUniversity to introduce a certificate course in legal studies. Announcing to allot 22 acres for the varsity, KCR also urged the University to introduce legal education courses at low levels and expand legal programs.

The Nalsar varsity is in the forefront to offer education with ethical values and hope it will reach great heights in future. The government will set up more Excellency centers to boost higher education in the State, he said, adding that the varsity will get all support for its modernisation works.

Chancellor and interim Chief Justice of High Court Ramesh Ranganathan, Registrar Balakrishna Reddy and others were present.
