KCR holds talks with Mamata on Federal Front

Hyderabad, Dec.24 (PMI): As part of Federal Front trip across the country to bring about qualitative change in national politics, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today called on his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Benerjee in Kolkata. KCR got a warm welcome from Mamata Benerjee and officials on the occasion.
At West Bengal Secretariat, the duo held key discussions on the federal front proposal. The two Chief Ministers shared ideas on the federal front to emerge as a strong alternative to the two national parties — the Congress and the BJP. After visiting Kali Matha temple and taking blessings, KCR will go to Delhi on Monday evening as per schedule. On being elected as Chief Minister for second time, KCR will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 26 or 27 as a courtesy call and may talk on State’s issues.
With a plan to stay in Delhi for three or four days, the TRS supremo will meet with former chief ministers BSP chief Mayavathi and Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav and several others and will put forth the federal front proposal and discuss on alternative political force at the national level.
