Hyderabad Metro Rail to roll out driver-less technology

The long awaited, Hyderabad Metro Rail will soon roll out with driver-less technology. The first 30-kilo meter long stretch of the metro Rail will be opened up for operations in two separate intersecting corridors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to formally inaugurate the Hyderabad Metro Rail project on 28th of this month during his visit to the city for the Global Entrepreneurs Summit 2017.

Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director, NVS Reddy informed that the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety has recently sanctioned authorisation for operations of the key stretch.

Initially the operations include 13 kilo meters from Miyapur to Ameerpet and a 17 kilo metres stretch from Ameerpet to Nagole.
