HC censures govt for not filing counter in MLAs’ expulsion case

Hyderabad,  The High Court today slammed the Telangana State government while dealing with petitions filed by expelled Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar.
Finding fault with the TRS government for not filing a counter yet, the Court again directed the Telangana government to file counter on or before April 6. The Court also made it clear that it will hear the arguments from April 9.
It may be mentioned here that Komatireddy and Sampath filed a case in the High Court challenging their expulsion from the Legislative Assembly. They alleged in their petition that the Speaker didn’t follow natural justice while expelling them from the House.
