: Irrigation and Marketing Minister T Harish Rao today asked the farmers to sell their produce for remunerative price and not for price at the markets. He participated in several developmental programs in Siddipet segment.
The minister launched a Maize purchase center at Siddipet and inspected the facilities. On the occasion he said that the farmers who work hard should get better price for their produce. The officials at the markets also should ensure them better price, he directed. The farmers are supposed to get better price to their produce and steps are being taken up in that direction, he said.
Harish launched two Anganwadi centers, Mahila Mandali buildings, CC Roads and public cemetery, 33/11 KV sub station at Ananthasagar area. Later he distributed cheques among beneficiaries of Kalyana lakshmi, CMRF schemes and attended the Bathukamma festival.
