Hyderabad 20th Feb’20 (PMI): During the year 2019, the Gang under the leadership of Arji Naveen Kumar has committed as many as (15) Dacoity/Robbery/House burglaries/House thefts/Cell phone thefts and other Property offences in the limits of Rachakonda.
Since the activities of the offender are prejudicial to maintenance of Public Order, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda invoked PD Act against Arji Naveen Kumar @ Naveen and Dasarla Yadagiri on 14-10-2019 and detained them in Central Prison, Cherlapally and also addressed a letter to the Hon’ble MSJ Court at LB Nagar with a prayer to conduct speedy trial of the cases.
The Hon’ble XVII MM, Cyberabad at Malkajigiri conducted trial and convicted the repeated house burglars Arji Naveen Kumar @ Naveen and Dasarla Yadagiri in one case of House burglary vide Cr No: 227/2019 U/s 457,380 IPC of PS Keesara vide CC No: 1665/2019 Cases and sentenced to undergo (08) months rigorous imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs 400/-.
Both the accused were earlier remanded and send to jail in other cases as well. The accused Arji Naveen Kumar @ Naveen hailed from Sapaibasthi, Kothagudem Mandal Khammam dist. In the year 2014 he was sent to jail in (6) cases from Thukaramgate , Tirumalghery, and Karkana P.Ss and he was detained under PD Act from Hyderabad City. After releasing from the Jail, in the year 2017 he was arrested by Boinpaly Police of Hyderabad City in kidnapping of a girl. He was released on bail In the month of November 2018 and started residing at Balajinagar and plying Auto from Jawarnagar to Kuhaiguda. He came in to contact with locality friends namely 1) Dasarlla Yadagiri @ Yadi 2) Bodda Pavan @ Pavan , 3) Kilari Vikash @ Vikash 4) Dakuri Shaker @ Shaker @ Nani, formed a Gang with them and started committing Dacoity/Robberies in the limits of Kushaiguda, Jawaharnagar, Neredmet and Keesara PSs.
The other accused Dasarlla @ Dasari Yadagiri @ Yadi hailed from Vikarabad Dist. He is also plying Auto for his livelihood by taking on daily hire basis. He hatched a plan to make easy money by committing thefts. Thus, in 2017 he was first arrested by GRP, Sec-bad for his complicity in Cr No: 484/2017 U/s 392,411 IPC & 102 CrPC. Later, he came in contact with their colony friends, Arji Naveen, Yakuri Shaker, Killari Vikash and Boddu Paveen and started committing thefts. (PMI)
