Habitual burglar sent to Chanchalguda jail

Hyderabad, Aug.2 (PMI): Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, issued Preventive Detention order under Act No.1 of 1986 against Nenavath Vinod Kumar alias Akhilesh Kumar, a burglar of Reinbazar Police Station, on July 27.
Nenavath Vinod Kumar, 25, was a car driver residing at Balaji Nagar in Mallapur and native of Nichugutta Thanda Amangal mandal in Ranga Reddy District. He earlier involved in several offences under the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and detained under PD Act by Hyderabad Police Commissionerate in 2015. After his release from preventive detention, he committed nine offences. He was again detained under the PD Act by Rachakonda Police Commissionerate in 2017. He was released from jail after 12 months in preventive detention.
After his release from detention again, he committed 14 more offences under the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates and has been creating panic among the general public and disturbing peace social harmony in the society. The Reinbazar Police arrested the accused on May 10 under Sections 454, 380 IPC and was remanded to judicial custody. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on July 28 and was lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison. (PMI)
