Hyderabad, July 1 : The state government is mulling over imposing another 15 days of lockdown in GHMC limits. The lockdown is likely to come into force from July 3 of this month and is likely to last till July 18 of this month.
A final decision is likely to be taken during the state cabinet meet schedule to be held in a day or two under the presidentship of CM KCR. According to highly placed sources, the state government has already given its green signal for the re-imposition of the lockdown in GHMC limits.
The source also add that the lockdown would be completely different from its predecessors. The state government is planning to close down all shops except the essential commodities shops and medical shops. A series of reports submitted to the state government have made it clear that the corona virus cases went up due to the failure of the people of the state to comply with stipulated precautions
