Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik called on the Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today. Mr Malik told reporters that he briefed the Home Minister about the security situation in the state and circumstances and development work.
He said, he also apprised Mr Shah about the preparation for the Amarnath Yatra. When asked about the Assembly elections in the State, Mr Malik said, election is not his subject and the Election Commission has to decide when to conduct the Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
